How to set a picture as the background in PowerPoint
- Download the background as a JPG with the button under the picture.
- In PowerPoint, right-click the slide and choose Format Background.
- Choose Picture or texture fill, click Insert and pick the file.
- To put it on every slide, click Apply to All.
How to set a background in Google Slides
Open your presentation, click Slide, then Change background and Choose image, and upload the JPG. Add to theme puts the background on every slide.
What size a presentation background should be
A 16:9 screen needs a picture of 1920 by 1080 pixels; the older 4:3 format takes 1440 by 1080. The backgrounds on these pages are saved 1080 pixels high, in the proportions of their template.
